Well, it's been awhile for any news, events, what have you, so here is the lowdown. Hippie Barrels is closed for business. BUT Hippie Barrels is still alive (just not manufacture), so this site is devoted strictly to testing of paintball equipment, and performance. What does this mean? Well, it means that I am not selling modified components, making one of products, repair, or anything like that (well repair is possibility). I am testing out equipment, and maybe in the future when I get everthing setup, I will allow owners to send thier markers to me to test out, and prepair statements on how it's running, and compare it to other markers that have been tested ... Whatever happens. Theres not much to the site (right now), I'll post my modifications, data sheets, ideas, links, etc, etc. Basically mix my two websites together (thebaldhippie.tripod.com/default.htm, and Hippie Barrels), and add alot! Well you may be wondering what I'll be testing, well mainly the basics for now, until I have a definite setup, and the software + hardware (I dabble in programming too :), so right now I'm looking at air flow (relationships between fps+psi, air consumption, etc), firing rates (max cps, max bps, etc), sound, and whatever else I can think up. Also, sorry for the annoying banner, slow loadups (unless you have cable), due to tripod. If this takes off, I will host this site at it's own domain.
